Helsinki Business Hub (HBH), the regional development agency for the Finnish capital region, is focused on enabling foreign companies to establish their businesses and innovation driven companies to grow and develop in the Helsinki region.

As HBH’s exclusive partner for India, PREVER works closely with HBH to provide the right information and contacts, and by designing growth opportunities while ensuring full confidentiality to the idea and concepts.

The suite of services provided is stitched together through a series of interconnected partner networks spread across the Helsinki region.

Business Finland is a newly formed entity, formed through the merger of Tekes, the innovation funding agency, and FinPro, the trade promotion agency.

With the merger, Business Finland has transformed itself as an accelerator of global growth where innovative companies are identified from around the world, and they are assisted by way of funding, providing market access, piloting opportunities, and ability to scale to become global success stories.

Espoo Innovation Garden is an idea than an entity. It refers to an innovative and common ways of working; a culture of collaboration and co-creation.

A total of 5,000 researchers, 25 research and development organisations, and people of 100 different nationalities work here, making it a truly global community.

Aalto University, formed by the merger of three universities to foster closer collaboration between the disciplines of science, art and business, is also a demonstration of Finland’s experiment with higher education.

Aalto University has Europe’s largest and most active student-run entrepreneurship community that has founded major concepts such as the Startup Sauna accelerator program and Slush startup event.

ArcticStartup is an independent technology media and events firm that reports on digital startups and growth entrepreneurship in the Nordic and Baltic countries.

Founded in 2007 with the aim of encouraging entrepreneurship and promote connectedness in the Nordic and Baltic regions, it attracts readers from over 130 countries, giving the region’s start-ups a media channel for global recognition.

VTT Technical Research Centre provides research and innovation services and information for domestic and international customers.

Bioruukki, the largest bioeconomy pilot and research facility in the Nordic countries; PrintoCent, the world's first pilot factory for printed intelligence and electronics industrialisation; and RoViR, Remote Operations and Virtual Reality Centre are some of VTT’s R&D facilities.

Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education and Culture form the core of the Team Finland network. It took shape in early 2010 with the intent of bringing Finland’s international activities together.

The aim of the network is to provide businesses with a smooth service chain, ranging from advice services to financing.


Other key entities include publicly funded organisations and foreign branches under the management of these ministries such as Business Finland, Finnvera, Finnfund, Finnpartnership, Tesi, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, Finnish Patent and Registration Office, centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment, Finnish Cultural and Academic Institutes, Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Finnish-Swedish Chamber of Commerce). With the county government reform in 2020, the network will also include private sector actors.
